Brighton have damaged their membership switch document to usher in striker Jurgen Locadia from PSV Eindhoven in a deal believed to be price round £14m.
The membership confirmed on Friday evening that the 24-year-old has signed a deal which is able to maintain him on the AMEX Stadium till June 2022 after passing his medical earlier within the day.
The membership’s earlier document signing was Jose Izquierdo, the Colombian left-winger arriving in the summertime for £13.5m – though he has been removed from an unqualified success to this point, not registering his first Premier League help till New Yr’s Day.
Supervisor Chris Hughton mentioned” “We’re delighted to have signed Jurgen, and happy to welcome him to the membership. He’s a participant we’ve been conscious of for someday, and it’s been no secret we’ve wished so as to add a striker of his kind.
“He’s a powerful, highly effective and fast centre-forward, with an actual eye for aim and can improve our attacking choices within the second half of the season. Jurgen already has a prolific aim document with PSV within the Dutch high division, and it’s one we hope he can proceed right here with us within the Premier League.”
The Seagulls face Chelsea at Saturday lunchtime as they give the impression of being to keep away from falling into the drop zone from their precarious place in 16th place.
