Football has witnessed a number of great players. Some of them with magical skills, some with great visions, and some with the neck of scoring goals. 10. Arthur Friedenreich-Brazil

Arthur Friedenreich was the first Afro-Brazilian player to play football at a professional level. Before his time, blacks were not allowed to play and whites dominated. He played his entire career in Brazil playing for a different club every single year. He was great goal scorer who managed to net the ball 557 times throughout his career. Arthur Friedenreich started his career in 1909 and ended in 1935. Although football at that time was not as much competitive at that time. But he deserves to receive the credit for his remarkable career.


9. Tulio Maravilha-Brazil

Tulio Maravilha is a retired Brazilian football player who started his career in 1988. He retired at the age of 43 years in 2012. Tulio Maravilha was not a very special player. But he managed to create a great goal tally just because of playing football at a lower level. He has a total of 575 goals in his career and is tied at this position with the German striker Uwe Seeler.

8. Uwe Seeler-Germany

Uwe Seeler is a German footballing legend who remained loyal to his club Hamburger SV. During his 18 years spell with the club, Seeler played in both Oberliga and Bundesliga. Uwe was a prolific striker with gifted positioning and netting technic. Seeler has his name in records of FIFA World Cup history. He was the first one to score in 4 world cup competitions. Pele has also scored in 4 world cup competitions, but Seeler was the first one to do so and have the record in his name. Moreover, Uwe and Klose are the only 2 players who have at least 2 goals in 4 world cup competitions. Currently, he is retired from football and working with Hamburger SV in various positions.

7. Ferenc Deak-Hungary

Ferenc Deak (late) was a Hungary international footballer. He played for Szentlőrinci AC, Ferencváros, and Budapesti Dózsa throughout his career. He managed a goal tally of 576 and hence appears on the 7th position of the list of Top 10 Highest Goal Scorers Ever in Football History.

He has a total of 585 career goals with Portugal, Sporting CP, Manchester united, and Real Madrid. He is 31 years old now and might not have a lot of time to play in the top form. But he could increase his rank by the end of his career.

5. Gerd Muller-Germany

Gerd Muller is regarded as the greatest player in the history of German football. He is one of  all time greatest who played for 3 clubs TSV, Bayern Munich, and Fort Lauderdale during the course of his career. Muller made his debut in 1963 and went to score 735 goals till 1981. His record of 85 goals in a calendar year was broken by Lionel Messi in 2012.

With 736 goals, Ferenc Puskas secures the 4th position as one of all time greatest in the games. Puskas is a Real Madrid legend. He has won 5 La Liga titles and 3 European Championship trophies. He played football for 23 years on the top level and retired in 1963.

3. Pele-Brazil

Pele, also known the greatest of all time alongside Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi, has 767 goals in his name. Pele had a highly successful 20-year career with the Brazilian national team and the club Santos FC. He is the only player in the history to win 3 FIFA World Cup trophies. Pele made people fall in love with his football through his magical skills and great goal scoring feet.

The Brazilian player Romario has traveled a lot throughout his career. He scored a total of 772 goals during a 27 years career playing for a large number of clubs.
